USA Passport, unboxed

On January 23, I mailed my passport application to the State department. This afternoon, I received my passport. It’s completely nuts! Apart from having the dastardly rfid chip in it, it’s got lots of fun-ness!
page 1-2: pictures of revolutionaries, a quote from the national anthem, a quote from Abe Lincoln, and some legal mumbo jumbo
page 4: bald eagle, the flag, and the opening of the Constitution
visa pages have various scenes from america, including national monuments
zoomed-in: each visa page has an inspirational quote, this one from JFK
last page: space, the next frontier! along with warnings against f’ing with the rfid chip, and a reminder that i’m required to pay us taxes if i work abroad.
time to put some stamps in there son!
i’m gettin another stamp next week, w00hooo!
Glad to here the process went so fast, we already bought tickets to go to Canada in May and don’t have passports yet.
